Welcome back to another blog!! We just got through tropical storm Sara where she rained for 3 whole days. Naturally, ministry looked very different (fist time ankle deep in mud working in the orchard for ministry) but the adjustment was handled so well and the rain reminded me of how powerful God is! Other than Tropical storm Sara, the past few weeks have been full of self growth and testimonies! For me the Lord has been refining the parts of myself that are not from him. For example: relying on my own strength. I had a situation that was completely out of my control and I had to trust the Lord and that he would give me strength. I’ve gotten the opportunity to fast and take time here on base to simply connect with God and make sure I’m filled before pouring into others. When my cup is full though, ministry has been incredible!! The people I’ve met truly inspire me to trust God with everything and understand the importance of my place here. The Nicaraguan people are so welcoming and kind. They inspire me to value community and family even more than before. Almost every house we’ve visited I’ve seen how they are ACTUALLY family. they love spending time together even if they’re doing nothing at all. Getting to dive deeper in relations with the staff and just people I’ve met has been such a joy!! It’s been almost two months doing life with the same people every day and each day provides new opportunities for rich memories.

     PRAYER!!!

South East Asia is coming so soon!! There’s lots of change coming so (1) pray for the new adjustment. Our squad will be splitting into teams and it will be very hard saying goodbye for a few months before we reunite for our last country. Right before that though we have Thanksgiving! This will be hard for a lot of the squad in missing home and it looking so different here as well. (2) Pray against loneliness and joy in being together for the time we have. (3) Pray for the people of Nicaragua. That they will actually love God not just religion. There are so many dead churches here and there needs to be an awakening!! Lastly, (4) pray for the people of South Asia as well as our team. There is SO MUCH darkness and that will be difficult in countless ways.

More to come about Thanksgiving, debrief, and the next country!!! Thanks for reading!
